Smokeandmirrors Hero 44

The owners of this Cape decided to make a transition to a year-round Cape Cod lifestyle. To do so they need a year-round kitchen. SV Design helped the couple make the most of limited space, increasing the function and layout of the kitchen while adding colorful and modern touches to reflect the owners’ eclectic and fun life.

Throughout construction, the owners traveled the world. SV Design maintained communication with the couple and managed the project keeping the ideas and goals of the homeowners in mind. The transformation of the home has been dramatic. What was once dated cabinets and wallpaper, and limited space, was transformed to a sleek and open kitchen and dining room. Design details included wood like tile running from countertops to ceiling, white lacquer cabinets throughout and mirrored doors for dining table storage. The incredibly functional pop up outlets along the outer portion of the counters provide ease, in addition to meeting electrical codes. Small appliances are displayed on the counter, when in use, and are conveniently stowed away in the ample cabinet space when entertaining. The modern style chairs can be used for the counter or table; great for morning cups of coffee with the paper at the counter and evening dinner parties at the expandable glass table.

The owners of this eclectic home appreciate art from all over the world and their renovation is a piece of art created from the visions and dreams they relayed to the expert team of SV Design. The result-- a beautiful display of architecture and interiors, flawlessly executed and thoroughly enjoyed.
