Inn Restoration Adds Guest Rooms and Improves Outdoor Flow
SV Design was asked to find a creative and appropriate way to renovate and add new guest rooms to the campus of the Publick House Historic Inn. This was achieved with a fourteen-room addition and restoration to the Chamberlain House, which emulates the scale and materials of the neighboring buildings. The project also included an accessible entrance, and accessible facilities, in addition to a new outdoor courtyard space which connects the Chamberlain House and the main Publick House building. The restoration and addition enabled the Publick House to expand accommodations to those visiting Sturbridge.
