SV Design provided interior architecture and design services to develop a vibrant, interactive workspace for a corporate office’s human resources department. Early in the schematic design phase, we delved into the client’s brand initiatives and their desire to attract a younger demographic of employees. Understanding these concepts provided a foundation for the program and design aesthetic we brought into the space.

Carefully assigned adjacencies of the departments, and efficient space/storage design allowed for additional workstations, multiple conference rooms, and open-concept, flexible meeting spaces.

We turned the challenges of low ceilings, a long and narrow footprint, and lack of direct vertical circulation into opportunity by redirecting the stair, infilling part of the double height lobby, and using long runs of narrow, recessed lights to alter the perception of a low structure.

Utilizing the reflectivity of double height glazing and strategically placed custom lighting visually multiplied the abstracted ‘arch of lights’ and doubled the lobby size.

Unique elements, bold pops of color, and flameless glass wall systems were incorporated to create a modern, yet welcoming, atmosphere. Large wall graphics that embrace and depict the company’s culture were installed and procured corporate-grade furniture and furnishings completed the well-branded space.
