SV Design is pleased to announce the promotion of Jennifer Hocherman AIA, LEED AP to Associate. Jen brings more than 17 years of architectural experience that includes a range of educational, commercial and institutional projects.
Since joining SV Design in 2013, Jen has lead the development of many of the firm's commercial, educational, and community-focused facilities. Her recent work includes new construction of Peter Frates Hall as well as renovations and additions to Brindle Hall, both at Endicott College in Beverly; the YMCA Sterling Center expansion and the YMCA Education Center for the Beverly YMCA; and renovations and expansions for Beverly Bootstraps, a leading social service agency on the North Shore.
Jen enjoys collaborating closely with clients to understand their immediate needs and long-term aspirations. She espouses SV's client-centric approach, and believes that engaging clients in the design process – and communicating proactively with partners – is the key to a project’s success.
Prior to joining SV Design, Jen held positions at Bargmann Hendrie + Archetype, Inc. and Steffian Bradley Architects in Boston. Jen is a graduate of Cornell University College of Architecture, Art and Planning, and has been a guest critic for the Boston Architectural College and Tufts University.
