Jen Hocherman Promoted to Associate

SV Design is pleased to announce the promotion of Jennifer Hocherman AIA, LEED AP to Associate. Jen brings more than 17 years of architectural experience that includes a range of educational, commercial and institutional projects.

Since joining SV Design in 2013, Jen has lead the development of many of the firm's commercial, educational, and community-focused facilities. Her recent work includes new construction of Peter Frates Hall as well as renovations and additions to Brindle Hall, both at Endicott College in Beverly; the YMCA Sterling Center expansion and the YMCA Education Center for the Beverly YMCA; and renovations and expansions for Beverly Bootstraps, a leading social service agency on the North Shore.

Jen enjoys collaborating closely with clients to understand their immediate needs and long-term aspirations. She espouses SV's client-centric approach, and believes that engaging clients in the design process – and communicating proactively with partners – is the key to a project’s success.

Prior to joining SV Design, Jen held positions at Bargmann Hendrie + Archetype, Inc. and Steffian Bradley Architects in Boston. Jen is a graduate of Cornell University College of Architecture, Art and Planning, and has been a guest critic for the Boston Architectural College and Tufts University. She has been a Citizen Teacher with Citizen Schools, and a volunteer with Horizons for Homeless Children.
